The German-Dutch gallery Kunstruimte
Berlin – Kampen
1995 – 2001
As if one location wasn’t enough, a brave delegation ventured out into the wintry cold in 1995 to find accommodation for a foreign branch in the young capital city of Berlin. With the help of alcohol to keep them warm, they succeeded in finding a place. They found a building in an inner courtyard with a beautiful brick gate.

About
Kunstruimte Berlin was the independent Berlin branch of the Kunstuimte Kampen gallery. Today, we would probably call it a project space. It was located in the inner courtyard of Sophienstrasse 18 in Berlin-Mitte, right next to the Sophiensäle.
